Prior to change , motor vehicles driving up Newman road to junction of , Jenkin road and Wincobank avenue had right of way . Now vehicles using Jenkin road and Wincobank lane have priority . Vehicles trying to exit left and right from the top of Newman road have to negotiate cars double parked , then a pedestrian crossing , then they have to deal with a very restricted view to the left up Jenkin road . Buses traveling down Jenkin road and turning right onto Newman road have problems due to , restricted views , and a very sharp turn , then a pedestrian crossing , double parked cars . The speed of motor vehicles traveling down Jenkin road speed adding yet another potential accident . The change has also caused congestion at the top of Newman road and most days traffic is stood 2 / 300 meters down Newman road . Prior to the change , traffic flowed much quicker , and did not stop causing more polution around the area where houses and shops are located . Turning right from the junction of Newman road to drive along Wincobank avenue is dangerous , i have experienced several near misses from speeding traffic traveling down Jenkin road , and have witnessed others . Parking part way down Jenkin road near to the junction mentioned , adds to the problem , as do pedestrians who cross in front of the pedestrian crossing rather than on it .
