At 12.30pm on 3.6.26 I was driving my car along Woodmansterne Road towards Carshalton Beeches when a complete tree fell onto my car from left hand side of verge

The tree landed across my bonnet damaging my car also knocking off driver side wing mirror It was across the road as well blocking oncoming traffic I couldn’t move and various people rushed to help checking I wasn’t hurt. A few of the men managed with difficulty to lift the tree off my car to left hand side verge . I phoned 999 and spoke to fire brigade service thinking they may have to move the tree as the whole tree was moved by then they said they didn’t need to attend but I was to inform council which I have. I was able to drive my car after I drove to side of road and calmed myself down as I was very shaken, so terrifying when you can see a tree falling towards you and can’t do anything about it. I was given name and phone number of one of helpers who witnessed what happened he also said 2 of his workers also saw it and will help with any questions.
