Vehicle parked on double yellow lines on a bend and partially on the pavement on Legge Lane

Reported via Android in the Car parking category anonymously at 09:23, Monday 9 March 2026

Sent to Dudley Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9071154.

A vehicle (registration FV14 BWC) was parked on double yellow lines on a bend on Legge Lane near Christ Church CE Primary School during the morning school drop-off period. The vehicle is positioned on the corner of the bend, reducing visibility for vehicles approaching the junction and creating a potential hazard for traffic turning into or out of the road. The vehicle also has its wheels mounted onto the pavement, partially obstructing the footpath used by pedestrians. This location forms part of the pedestrian route to Christ Church CE Primary School, and the area is heavily used by parents and children during school drop-off and pick-up times. Parking on double yellow lines and obstructing the pavement in this location creates both a visibility hazard for drivers and an obstruction for pedestrians. Given the restricted location on a bend and the existing parking restrictions, this matter should be investigated and considered for enforcement action where appropriate.
