Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

We are sorry we are not taking any further action on this enquiry. An officer has been to site and no issues can be seen with the drainage assets in the affected area. The gullies in proximity to the reported area have been inspected within the last year, showing that they were working well, and our cyclical team are due to jet the gullies in the coming months. It’s worth noting that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains like these can be overwhelmed. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Thank you for reporting this matter.
