Parking on the apex of an incredibly sharp corner

Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 00:52, Wednesday 5 February 2025

Sent to Derby City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7087280.

This happens every other day, I beleive this person is visiting relatives. The picture doesn't convey just how dangerously this vehicle has been parked. To the right, the road turns and ascends at a near 45 degree incline. Oncoming vehicles are traveling downhill. The road narrows to roughly 3.6M across the center of the corner. People have crashed into the house on this corner. The entire road along Maple Avenue through to Nevison Avenue is used as a rat run to get through traffic from Stenson Road to Blagreaves lane. There are 3 schools along the adjacent roads connected by the jitty that runs from Marks Close. This road is becoming dangerous for its residents to use, no one deserves to feel threatened by other road users, this needs to be addressed immediately.
