Trees and brambles hanging over path

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 15:40, Fri 25 September 2015 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council 5 minutes later

The trees on the west bound side of Mably Way (around the Letcombe Brook crossing) need trimmed back as they are supporting brambles that are hanging down to around 160 cm above the path, I have scratched my face a few times on them while running.

  • The Vale of White Horse District Council does not own the verges either side of Mably Way (around the Letcombe Brook crossing). Oxfordshire County Council Highways are responsible for keeping footpaths clear for members of the public to use safely.

  • I posted this on fix my street on Oxfordshire county council web site, not Vale of White Hourse so I don't know why it has been sent to you.

  • I inspected this yesterday and cut the brambles away from the footway. This is a on the list to be cut in the near future.-A P-OCC
