Thank you for your recent email regarding lighting on the footbridge at the closed Brightside Station.

It is our understanding that the footpath, surfacing and the lighting were transferred to Sheffield City Council when the station was closed. This is supported by confirmation by the Network Rail liabilities team that Sheffield City Council carries an adopted footpath over this bridge.

May I therefore suggest that you contact Sheffield City Council to request the lighting at this location be repaired
