I would feel reassured if this tree was checked, I'm wondering if it is an Ash tree with Ash die back. It is close to my hedge and in a public park. A large chunk if it has cracked and is hanging on with some Bark.

I am concerned that the tree involved may be an ash tree and that if it is diseased I am concerned that the remaining part of the tree may fall on my hedge and garden and destroy it, I am also concerned for the safety of the park users. I would like some feedback from the Parks and countryside department.
