Dog Mess everywhere

Whenever we take our kids over the Longlands Recreation Ground one of them will get dog mess on their shoes, clothes, hands or bike wheels. There is a total disregard by a number of dog owners (not all of them) that when their dogs go toilet they are either not watching their dog or they are not bothering to pick the mess up. I have challenged a few dogs owners who have reacted aggressively towards me so I now no longer do that but it is really frustrating. I appreciate that this issue is down to dog owners taking responsibility but something really needs to be done. It is unfair on children that they are unable to play and exercise because of the dog mess on these playing fields. Can you please step up efforts to monitor this? Could there be a small section, fenched off, for dogs and dog walkers only? There really needs to be action taken to make the field a more pleasant area for all local residents.
