Right or left turn prohibition sign not in place

Reported via mobile in the Road signage category anonymously at 22:37, Sat 10 September 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3816607.

Bellend drive has two No entry signs facing Whitchurch lane, however on approach towards this junction there are no signs at all to warn drivers that they must not turn left or right into this road. But vehicles do unfortunately turn into the road hence going into a one way street. The junction is, a somewhat rare β€œ T β€œ junction as it’s protected by the two albeit small No entry signs where it is more than normal to be able to turn into side streets that are off main roads. I have seen many vehicles turn into the junction and at the last second realised their mistake. But some carry on into Belland Drive causing undue hazards to traffic/pedestrians. There needs to be prominent 🚫 No left or right turn signs on the approach to the junction on Whitchurch Lane.
