Pavement blocked
Reported via desktop anonymously at 14:54, Wed 31 August 2022
Sent to Barnet Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3793144.
The pavement at the corner of The Ridgeway and Parkside, Finchley, N3 is greatly reduced in size by boarding erected by builders or workmen along the garden side fence of 14 The Ridgeway. This situation has already been ongoing for some weeks. The previous owner of the property died recently and the new owners are clearly having work done before they move in. In the meantime one is unable to use the pavement in that area.

No change. The pavement is still blocked and no progress with the work in the property. No workmen have been seen in the property for several weeks.

Still as it was although I did see one workman doing some work in the house just this morning.

The pavement is still greatly reduced in width and in addition the builders, now working in the corner house in The Ridgeway (see photo), are now dumping the discarded white goods and other items in Parkside by the fence, despite having a skip in the front garden.
