Bins washed out dumping filthy waste in front of shop

Reported via desktop in the Bin bags/ Cardboard boxes category anonymously at 14:05, Thu 18 August 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Westminster City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3764298.

This morning the bins on Star Street/Sale Place were washed out and the water/filth was simply dumped in front of shop on Sale Place. The odour was sickening and vile. These bins are more than disgusting! Simply ask the Rubbish collectors as they see the same old mess every day of the week. Also please note various beggars doing their business in between the bins. We have requested that these bins be moved for years. We have suggested that they be moved down to St Michaels St/Sale Place as that is not a residential street behind the pub. We pay business rates, council taxes and Paddington BID. So far our money is wasted and no one will listen to us. We take daily photos of the over filled bins left for rodents and homeless people to dig through leaving more waste on the street to blow down into the basement flats. We were told to wait until after the election and something would be done. ???What election is it that we are waiting for??? Final warning we will proceed to take this to court through our solicitors. Several cameras have been installed to keep a watchful eye on abusers and so far nothing has come of that.

We have several international tourist who use the launderette and are sickened by the rubbish on the pavement and ordour of the bins. Westminster, when are you going to do something about this ongoing problem?
