Tree outside my house 25 Downs Avenue blocks daylight, interferes with my phone line from telegraph pole to my house and is causing my drive to rise

Thank you for your enquiry. Works are raised to crown reduce the tree which are in hand to be completed by the contractor under our standard 28 days time frame. Please note, in line with the Bromley tree strategy; https://www.bromley.gov.uk/ downloads/ file/ 3334/ tree_management_strategy_2016-2020), I am sorry to say under British law you do not have a right to light and we do not prune trees for overhead cables, under the service agreement made by the provider of that service, they are required to maintain their network of overhead cables and have specialist teams to undertake works which may involve temporary disconnection of service.
