  • Thank you for your enquiry. Currently installing a sensor on the column involves drilling a hole into it which affects it's structural integrity, if anything were to happen and the column failed the council would be to blame as it's affected the warranty of the column. We can confirm that the council is currently re-evaluating the materials which are being used with the hope to use a manufacturer which includes the cell within the lantern to avoid any possible damage to the column. For the time being this island will continue to run 24/7 until a suitable solution is found
