The pothole has predominantly been repaired but the manhole cover just beyond the repair still makes a loud clanging noise as cars drive over it. The cover is in two sections (or is broken into two pieces) and does not appear to sit properly in the frame.

Further to the previous update - the pothole repair had made the clanging manhole cover worse because there is now a ridge between the repair and the manhole cover causing greater vibration as cars travelling up Bull Lane towards The Bull public house drive over ridge and manhole cover causing a double clang.

In regards to loose/ clanging Manhole cover we ask that new and separate occurrences of issues are logged as new reports to avoid conflicting information or updates and ensure the information is passed promptly to our contractor. Please log the issue via https://fix.bromley.gov.uk as a new report using the map marker and description to detail where the issue is located.
