It’s becoming more and more of an issue about parents who are parking across our drive when they are dropping off children at Loudwater combined school. As it is a primary school parents are understandably leaving the car for a significant amount of time and this morning half our drive was blocked by a parent who couldn’t be bothered to find another space. We moved into the house just over a year ago and we have always had problems with parents but it seems to be happening more and more in recent times.

  • Thank you for your report regarding a someone blocking a private drive, this has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
