Traffic lights York Street & Gloucester Place eastbound

Reported via mobile in the Street works and obstructions category anonymously at 08:52, Wednesday 8 June 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Westminster City Council less than a minute later

A couple of evenings ago at approx 10pm the red light at York Street eastbound with junction of Gloucester Place didn't change. In fact side street lights all along Gloucester Place from Portman Sq to York St need to be checked as a similar thing happened to me yesterday on Crawford St westbound at it's junction with Gloucester Place. Is it too hard to have the sensors on traffic lights working properly so that they recognise cars are waiting and sequence the lights accordingly?
