Zebra crossing lights covered - dangerous

Reported via mobile in the Street Lighting and Road Signs category anonymously at 09:12, Friday 20 May 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Contractors carrying out street works closed the zebra crossing and put black plastic bags over the flashing beacons. They have since packed up, but have left the bags on. This is creating a dangerous situation as drivers think the crossing is not in operation.

  • Still not fixed. Still dangerous. You need better ways of dealing with third party contractors working on your highways assets. This is not acceptable.
