Dropped kerb too steep
Reported via desktop in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category anonymously at 19:02, Thu 19 May 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3537848.
The dropped kerb on the corner of Heathfield and centre common road is very steep and my powered wheelchair struggles to climb it and several times the camber and gravity has forced my chair into the road into oncoming traffic. The angle here needs to be reduced.

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.State changed to: Internal referral
