Sewer drain cover

Reported via mobile in the Utlility Covers category by Mr Ian Cockle at 20:27, Friday 11 February 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

On the exit side of the boulevard on same side as the college, on inside lane directly next to traffic lights is a very loose drain cover and literally a thousand times per day, every time cars, buses and lorrys drive over the cover it makes a loud bang from each tyre 24 hours a day .

  • The noise issue has still not been fixed. 24 hours per day cars, buses, lorries and vans are driving over the manhole cover and every tyre creates a very loud bang. Issue was first raised nearly two months ago and nothing has been done.

  • Still nothing has been done to repair the broken/ damaged drain and it's framework. This was reported several months ago. I live directly opposite the drain cover, and the noise created by cars, vans, buses and lorries driving over the drain occurs 24 hours per day every day.
