Heritage fingerpost needs black paint amending re Golf Course, Southend Rd jct with Waitrose access road. Beckenham place Park is still there, but the Golf Course was removed about 6 years ago. Please correct this sign, and so maintain confidence in Council signs generally, by blacking out the lettering "Golf Course". I am also reporting the same issue for the fingerpost in St Georges Rd, at the junction of the churchyard and Beckenham Green.

As per my update on the similar problem finger post in St Georges Rd, Beckenham, surely this would take ten minutes to amend, but after months there has been no action on the amendment.

Thank you for your enquiry. We can confirm that the delay had been caused due to ownership of the signs and where the funding would come from to get this rectified. We can confirm that this has been passed to the council's street lighting contractor and will be completed shortly.
