Church road between 48-54
Reported via mobile in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 09:23, Sunday 16 January 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later
The edge of the road has overgrowth. Which in turn doesn’t allow the water to drain into the two drains as shown in the photographs. When it rains the road turns into a small stream and when cold the water & road surface freezes, this makes road slippery and dangerous. Also when the ice melts it takes away the road surface meaning a lot of lose stones come away from the road when dry making to road slippery. Advise to clear back to original side of road so water can drain as originally intended. Also road sweeper can clear road correctly both sides and it in turn will widen road to original width allowing emergency vehicles to pass if a car is parked which isn’t possible at the moment.
