No road markings

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 00:32, Thu 30 December 2021

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

Recent roadworks at the junction of William Barefoot Drive and White Horse Hill have left no road markings on the junction heading onto Elmstead Lane. I’ve had several near misses resulting in both lanes attempting to proceed onward from William Barefoot Drive onto Elmstead Lane, when there are no left, right or straight ahead road markings making it clear. There isn’t enough space for both lanes to proceed onto Elmstead Lane as it immediately narrows into one lane, and oncoming traffic is often waiting to turn right onto White Horse Hill. This is extremely dangerous as drivers are making last minute attempts to file into one lane.
