Rubbish in street. Needs Cleaning

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
There is a need for a litter bin by the parade of shops next to Hillview Road. Our Street looks like a third world country with cans and rubbish strewn everywhere. Why wont you put a bin in situ. If a shop sells crisps cans, ice crems etc there is a need. For the Residents its a daily eyesore
Thank you for your report, this is now being investigated. Information on our services and the timeframes we aim to respond in can be found: http://www.bromley.gov.uk/ fixservices

I would agree with this post wholeheartedly. There is a huge need for a bin outside the shops.

Thank you for your report. Previously a bin was sited at this location. However, due to it being constantly abused with the dumping of household waste, it was removed. It will not be replaced at this stage. However, the Neighbourhood Officer will monitor the area to ensure its cleanliness and LBB's cleansing contractor has been alerted too. Once again, thank you for your report. NLM. 01.12.21.

Can you inform me what action has been taken to the cleaning of Hillview Road in the future. I am disappointed in your response regarding the litter bin. I have lived here 8 years and I have not witnessed any household goods. I notice that Chislehurst village has numerous bins. Some have notices afixed to the bins requesting no household goods. What about the dumping of dog litter bags dumped in the street.
