Dangerous parking due to no double yellow lines

A number of cars are continually parking dangerously on Ormond Road close to the junction with Trinder Road. I have seen numerous instances of near misses with head-on collisions. The existing white lines are faded but I believe there needs to be additional markings at the bend in the road to avoid the pinch point and stopping two way traffic. I suggest double yellow lines. The photo illustrates one instance of the problem.

Thank you for your report, the installation of formal waiting restrictions (yellow lines) requires the implementation of a ‘Traffic Regulation Order’ which in involves a long and expensive legal process including full consultation, I regret that Oxfordshire County Council could not fund such a scheme at this time.
It should be noted that if a vehicle is parked in either a dangerous position or in such a position as to cause an obstruction these are offences under Section 22 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, this legislation is enforced by Thames Valley Police.
