Blocked drainage leading to large puddles

Reported by resident, the underpass on Hengrove Way Roundabout has flooding caused by blocked drainage which is preventing access through for pedestrians and cyclists

  • 21.10.21 Still blocked. I also wouldn't describe the flooding as a puddle. The depth of the flooding here must be close to 2 metres deep in the underpass.

  • The first 2 photos are from Weds 6th October. The third photo is from Mon 18th October. Since the 18th, the flooding level has risen again following recent rain fall. Basically, this flooding has been here all month.

  • Following the recent heavy rain, this is how the subway looked this morning. The water level has risen to the point where it is almost level with the central island of the subway is (where the map marker is on the map).

  • Jan 2022. Flooded again! It seems the clearance of the drain was only a temporary fix.
