I was advised by the operatives who attended this issue that there was a fixed blockage that had probably been there since its construction and this would explain why this drain has always been prone to flooding. They were not able to rectify the problem and that its needs further attention.

Email received at CSC 03.11.21 at 15.06 I reported a blocked drain using the normal on-line Fix My Street process (blocked drain outside 22 The Spinneys report 3038042). This has been reported as complete but I have now added a further comment pointing out that the operatives who attended to deal with the problem informed me that there is a long-standing problem with this drain I unerstood from them that there is a blockage that thety could not clear and that it has probably been there for many years, possibly since the drain was constructed in about 1970. This drain has always been slow to drian and has recently been prone to significant flooding. Recently I have been afraid that water could overflow from the road, flow onto and down my drive and inundate my home. My property is below street level. The operatives informed me that they would report the situation back to their supervisors. The feedback on my FixMyStreet report indicated that the problem has been fixed. It has not. My home is at risk of flooding. I would like to know what action will be taken by the Council to improve the drainage to eliminate this risk.
