Reported via iOS in the Public Trees category by Adam Bushell at 12:02, Wed 15 September 2021
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
The tree seems to be partially dead and needs to have many dead branches removed before they fall and cause damage to cars. Hopefully this tree can be saved but it definitely needs some care very soon
Thank you for your report, this is now being investigated. Information on our services and the timeframes we aim to respond in can be found: http://www.bromley.gov.uk/ fixservices

Email received at CSC 07.11.21 at 09.17 Please give brief details of why you are contacting us: On Friday 5 November a tree was removed on Empress Drive outside house numbers 13 and 15. Can I please ask the reason for this? A stump about 18 inches/ 2 ft tall still remains. Does this mean the tree will regrow? If not, will you replace it and plant another tree please, particularly in this difficult time and the benefits of trees and requests to us to plant more?

The tree was sadly un-saveable, the remaining stump will be ground out and a replacement tree has been added to the planting schedule and in hand to be planted January -April of next year.

Regarding trees that have been cut down in Empress Drive over a period of years due to deceases etc; will the trees be replaced at some time in future? I would have thought as there is an ongoing tree planting scheme at the moment the first priority would have been replacing trees which have been removed because of decease etc
