Section of Appledore Crescent between Main Road and Llyd Close not routinely or regularly cleansed

Reported via mobile in the Street cleaning and litter category anonymously at 20:22, Sunday 12 September 2021 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later

This section of road is always strewn with litter and has not been cleaned for more than a year. Apart from general detritus it includes bottles of alcohol, broken glass (removed by residents for reasons of immediate safety), bottles of urine (same) and many discarded used face masks. The lack of routine and regular cleaning along this section of road is not only unsightly, but a hazard to health and safety. Urgent action is required.

  • Absolutely no response or even acknowledgement from the Council. Having created a worsening situation, the Council evidently accepts no responsibility for it.
