The tree on the pavement requires pruning

Reported via mobile in the Public Trees category anonymously at 15:48, Wednesday 4 August 2021 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

The tree outside 50 Elmstead Ave required pruning. The large branches are overhanging the property and are almost touching the homes upstairs window. The tree is also diseased and the upper branches touch the electricity/phone cables. Additionally the large roots from the unsuitable cherry tree which was planted there are raising the pavement and are destroying the properties garden wall.

  • The tree has not been pruned in anyway. The branches are still hanging over the property and are almost touching the front first floor windows. The tree is also diseased and the upper branches touch the electricity/phone cables. The roots are also destroying the properties wall.

  • Not fixed

Posted anonymously at 21:42, Tuesday 5 October 2021

  • There has been no work on the tree - the branches, roots are untouched. The problem remains. Your contractor has not been on site and has not fixed this issue. Posting that appropriate action has been taken when no action has actually taken place is not helpful. Your contractor has taken no action - please resend your surveyor to check. They will confirm the work remains outstanding.
