Typical bus-route dip in hot tarmac

Hi, I'm sure this must be new, I ride this route twice a day all week, I imagine the recent heat will have contributed to this sort of problem. Westbound Oxford St, and the lights of the junction with Portman St, a large dip has formed just where the busses would stop for a red light. At 0645 on Thursday 22/07/21 this sent me flying off my bike causing quite a lot of damage to it and me. This morning have I retraced that exact route to figure out what caused the accident. I can take another photo of it later if it helps.
