Overgrown vegetation covering 1/3 of parking space

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 18:36, Mon 12 July 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2859578.

The vegetation is so overgrown that now roughly 1/3 of the first parking space is taken up by the hedge resulting in a person having to park 'wide' and encroaching on the only other parking space at the top of the road. Can you cut it back please so that both spaces can be fully utilised as parking is at a premium here as it is and so that any driver parking here doesn't get soaking wet from the bushes trying to get into their car after it rains.

  • I reported this 8 weeks ago but still nothing has been done and it’s got worse. Now only one car can park in the two parking spaces as it is so overgrown. With parking at such a premium in the road it would be great if the bushes could be cut right back to where they should be (rather than just trimmed) and then the parking space can be utilised again.
