Broken and uneven pavements

Reported via desktop in the Other street defect category anonymously at 12:52, Mon 14 June 2021 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later

From Longlands Road to Agaton Path, and all roads in between the pathways are very dangerous. My 96 year old mother can no longer go for a walk at she cannot see the uneven pavements. Putting the black tarry stuff down makes matters worse. Whilst I was out walking recently there was a builders lorry park on wholly on the pavement and I had to wait for it to move. Needless to say the pavement is now very unsafe. I appreciate the people are having work to improve their living standards but I feel it is time for the council to inspect the damage caused by this to the footpaths.

The grass verges in this part of the borough have not been cut for ages. Funnily enough the borough was cutting Footscray Road and we thought we might be lucky.

I know we are in very pressured times but we are fed up of been treated by the council in this forgotten way. After all we do pay a substantial amount of rates but don't see any basic services for it.

I am sorry to have to complain but in the 51 years I have lived here the environment in such a state.
