Large gang of antisocial youths

Reported via desktop anonymously at 14:59, Fri 28 May 2021

Sent to Sheffield City Council less than a minute later

The corner of Bolsover Road East and Firth Park Road has become a gathering place for a rowdy group of Youths who appear to live in the Popple street area and gather each night often to beyond midnight and not infrequently from early afternoon well before schools turf out. Favourite activities include using a traffic cone as a megaphone, a wheelie bin (been there for a couple of months now) as a drum & occasional vaulting horse and on Wednesday 26/5/21 they used a parked car as a climbing frame. Most disturbing is that at least one of the youths is around 10-11 years old and he is there most nights, surely this is a child in danger situation? This situation has been going on off and on for at least a couple of months now and none of the younger ones appears to be attending school.

Updates

  • The wheelie bin used as a drum / vaulting horse seems to have been removed and the youths are less prominent on the corner but then again more of them seem to have bikes and e-scooters now so perhaps they are blessing someone further afield with their raucous presence?
