Brickworks - Uncut grass and dog fouling

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 10:46, Mon 18 June 2012

Sent to Sheffield City Council 4 minutes later

The grass in the Brickworks park desperately needs strimming. There are a collection of large stones, used by children to play on, that are now almost hidden by the overgrown grass. In the overgrown grass is lots and lots of dog muck! The paths in general are also littered with muck. Also, the passage that runs alongside the Flower Estate Community Association/Hinde House School, which leads into the Brickworks is becoming difficult to walk through as there is an overgrown hedge running down it (along with the usual accumulations of litter). It would be greatly appreciated if this whole area could be cleaned up as a matter as urgency. On Thursday 21st June approximately 60 nursery children from Hinde House School will be taking part in a national sponsored event (The Big Toddle), which will involve a walk all around the Brickworks site. In its current state, many of the children will be returning to nursery covered in dog muck. Please take action. Kind Regards, A Local Parent
