Deep pothole on the Tunley Road (B3115) near Dunkerton
Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category by Bath and North East Somerset Council at 11:40, Fri 8 January 2021 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2467463.
The pothole is especially dangerous because it is hidden by a stream which runs across the road for much of the winter and as such is submerged. I hit this pothole doing about 30mph on Monday afternoon and it gave me a huge shock and I believe it may have damaged my car. This pothole is also totally unavoidable when encountering oncoming traffic was travelling in the other direction. I believe other cars have had mishaps because there is car debris by the pothole. There is also lots of loose tarmac in the road.
