Public bin outside of 23 Okehampton Crescent

Hello, I was told to email my issue when I rang your waste & recycling dept. Over the last 18 months there has been an issue regarding a public bin outside my house next to a bus stop. Just last Friday, a blue bin liner was left next to the yellow public bin, in the past this isn’t collected until 3 to 4 days later, this gives opportunity for foxes to tear apart the bin for scavenging which ends up in my drive and all over the pavement area outside my house, I have to clear up the contents which consist from confectionary wrappers to split dog waste bags. As I send this email at 11:28am, the bag still hasn’t been collected.

I rang on Friday to your waste & recycling department and explained there is recurring pattern regarding this bin collection and why do they not take the bin liner, I was told that this is because a mobile street cleaner would empty the public bin but won’t have enough space to take the contents with them? I was then told there would be a collection on Saturday or Sunday, this wasn’t collected and I’ve attached a photo for what happened over the weekend.

Is there any logical solution for the this collection to be done on a Friday night, so this doesn’t get left overnight at all, only for the foxes to take opportunities to scavenge, I can’t keep cleaning up these contents every time this happens.
