Damaged post (to stop pavement parking)
Reported via desktop in the Roads/Highways category anonymously at 12:05, Sat 21 November 2020
Sent to Lewisham Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2398544.
Pavement parking on the corner is a constant problem in Redfern Road - something the Council seems unconcerned with. Now one of the posts in place to stop parking has been damaged presumably by a vehicle trying to park! Please replace the post & ask that parking wardens pay regular visits to check for illegal & obstructive parking.
Updates
-
Damage post has been removed & the hole filled in. The post should have been replaced as this is now making it easier for illegal parking on the pavement.

Since I put the photo of car illegally parked yesterday (where the post that council removed should have been), yet another post has been hit by vehicle & is damaged - if these posts are not replaced (with stronger posts) there will be vehicles parking on the pavement more often. Please fix this ongoing issue by putting in new metal posts.
