The Mercedes (reg KGZ 660) was illegally parked on the sidewalk on Paddington Street W1 (just outside Crazy Pizza), with engine idling. It had apparently just been given a parking ticket. There was no one in the driver's seat. I knocked on the window and asked the woman in the passenger seat please to turn off the engine but she said she did not know how.
