Uncollected broken paving stones left in the road by the council
Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 15:22, Tue 10 November 2020
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2380840.
Part of the pavement in Coldbath Street was dug up and replaced with asphalt over two weeks ago and the broken debris outside no. 23 has STILL not been collected. As well as being dangerous, it's also an eyesore and is preventing the use of two parking spaces (outside the 2 hour restricted times midday). We do not want our street to be used as an indefinite rubbish dump, so please remove this rubble ASAP. Thank you

Why has this been marked as 'fixed'? It is NOT fixed it's STILL there! Who is the person lying in your department?

You pay your Council Tax and yet nothing gets done! Complained a month ago about dumped paving slabs and old tarmac that the council left after repairing the pavement, but it was FALSELY marked on FixMyStreet as fixed!! It's STILL there and is taking up a whole parking space! What can we do about this atrocious service?!

Why has this problem been marked as 'closed'??? This is a downright lie, as it's NOT been dealt with! Even the yellow barriers are still leaning against the wall since this work was carried out on the 10th November 2020!!! This can only be down to someone who's too lazy to pass it on to the correct department and so marked it as closed! If this isn't gone by the end of next week, I shall be contacting the local councillor to make sure this eyesore is removed! If this was Kensington & Chelsea council it would have been gone before they even finished the repairs. Disgusting. What do we pay our council tax for?

Despite talking to the local councillor about this problem over a week ago, the offending debris is STILL in the road. After 3 months of complaining about this, I feel it's now time to get in touch with my local MP and report the disgraceful incompetence of the Royal Borough of Greenwich council. Please expect a call from him in the near future. Even though this service is paid for by US, we are treated like your doing us a favour! Disgusting!

This was finally resolved last week, after 5 months of continuously badgering the council and 4 weeks still, after speaking to the councillor personally! Disgraceful service! I wonder what Kensington and Chelsea's council service is like..... 🤨
