Ryners Lane is STILL dangerous for children cycling to school
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 09:04, Tue 3 November 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2368598.
This morning a Toyota Corolla nearly knowcked my son off his bike on Rymers Lane as the driver tried to quickly push through a pinch point before another car came in the other direction. Just before half-term, I saw a teenager knocked off his bike as he cycled home from school. I BET that didn't feature in your accident statistics! Painting yellow lines on one side of the road just helps cars move more quickly. BUT those pinch points that force cyclists into the stream of moving traffic head-on is STILL dangerous. Either close the road to rat-running cars or remove those dangerous obstacles!
