Littlemore roundabout incredibly dangerous when turning right into Oxford road
Reported via mobile in the Road Markings category by Thomas Reilly at 00:35, Tue 3 November 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2368427.
It is virtually impossible to turn right into Oxford rd via littlemore roundabout when coming anti clockwise around the ring road.
The three lanes of the roundabout are not sufficiently marked and it is possible to go straight over the roundabout in all three lanes.
This means that for turning right in the middle lane you are likely to cut up someone in the right hand lane wishing to go straight over.
If you attempt to turn right in the right hand lane you end up in the inner lane of the roundabout and then have to cut across the left hand lane to yourself to get into Oxford road.
I live on Oxford road and every day is a lottery for ending up dead.

Oxford Road (going from Rose Hill, Newman Road) towards roundabout overloaded with traffic..rush hour morning/night traffic backs up tremendously. Cars speed towards roundabout excessively!!!! Tires screeching, hors constantly honking. It's not only a traffic nuisance, but a noise control nuisance for people living directly in the area & dangerous. Too much traffic flow. Need another way for drivers to go. Example: Put a road at the top of Rose Hill Oval to get onto ringroad towards Sainsburys area. The houses on Oxford Road by Rose Hill Parade Shops were built/there 1st, so poor planning on behalf of the Council to block on top of Rose Hill Oval & built more flats etc., without thinking out the traffic plan for access/exit of the area.
