Silver birch tree
Reported via desktop in the Highways category anonymously at 20:13, Sat 3 October 2020
Sent to Barnet Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2323699.
Please can a tree specialist check the silver birch tree planted outside Nos 43 & 45. A small branch fell into the road during a rain storm recently but there is another much larger branch which could be rotten and for safety reasons may require cutting off. It overhangs the road and a car parking bay. Please do NOT remove the whole tree as it is visited by birds and insects and is enjoyed by the residents too.

I received an email on 6 October telling me that the tree would not cause a hazard although there was some bark damage. Also that the overhanging branch and lower branches of the tree would be pruned within the next 6 weeks.
