Ineffective LED tsreet light

Reported in the Lights too bright/ dull category anonymously at 18:03, Saturday 12 September 2020

Sent to Hounslow Borough Council less than a minute later

This LED light is now totally obscured by overhanging branches and leaves. It is situated outside no: 23 Cobbs Road and at the entrance to the alleyway that leads to Midsummer Avenue. This alleyway has a reputation for drug dealing/taking, alcohol abuse and many other anti-social behaviour. It is therefore important that it is very effective.

  • The only difference to the effectiveness of this street light is that, in winter, the leaves fall and this gives greater illumination [up to a point]. It has nothing to do with which ever department owned by LB of Hounslow that is responsible and who choose to ignore problems.
