Lock does not work properly on the gate at the top of the park and cars have started parking on the grass as access is easy through the gate. This lock has not worked since the new gate was installed. The chain link to the padlock is too long. With cars parking on the grass there is a risk to young children/dogs not being visible to the drivers.

The chain link to the padlock is too long, which means the gate is never locked. Cars have started parking on the grass/gravel area inside the gate. There is a risk to young children/dogs not being visible to the drivers when reversing out of the spaces. The cars parking are getting more frequent. This needs addressing before an accident happens. This is people using the park, not the allotments.
