Very large branches falling off tree, needs cutting back

The tree needs cutting back. A few days ago two very large branches fell from the tree next to parked cars and onto the pavement. The fallen branches have been taken away, but the tree needs cutting back to avoid other similar issues. Several of the other branches looks like they could fall under strong winds, and would potentially damage parked cars or fall on pedestrians.

The tree will be inspected for its condition to assess what actions may be required in the interest of public safety.
