Overgrown vegetation, Sulis Meadows (Specifically Poplar Road junction)

Reported in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In a residential area category anonymously at 07:28, Tuesday 18 August 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later

The vegetation from the council owned land/border along Sulis Manor Road is causing an obstruction to drivers turning left out Poplar Road. This is particularly a problem when cars are parked along Sulis manor road and cars need to pass wide causing danger for vehicles exiting Poplar road. This is a continued issue every year (as with all vegetation in Sulis Meadows) and the cutting back that was done Last year wasn’t done sufficiently to the corner part of the junction to make any difference. The hack job that was done last year was unattractive and made the estate look untidy. The residents don’t want the greenery removed as it’s part of the character. We just want regular maintenance of these areas to make it safe to walk And drive. At the moment it is not safe for either purpose.
