Tree growth prevents pedestrian passage along the pavement and necessitates stepping out into the road which creates a danger to children , the elderly/infirm and partially sighted
Reported in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 13:14, Thu 6 August 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 2 weeks, 4 days, 22 hours, 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2233405.
Much of the pavement outside numerous properties is obstructed and impassable. This has been the case for some months and is a perennial problem , caused by the way in which the trees are pollarded then simply left to regrow across the pavement. Pedestrians have repeatedly in consequence to step out into the road to circumvent the trees in question , which is potentially dangerous for children , the elderly/infirm and anyone who is partially sited.
