Drop at bottom of driveway causing cars to scrape on the road
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 12:44, Sat 1 August 2020
Sent to Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2225942.
Significant subsidence and damage to road-edge of the drop curb causing any cars driving in/out of the driveway to scrape against the tarmac quite badly. Council emailed a number of times requesting repair that has been refused or ignored. I apparently do not have permission repair myself either.

Been in contact with the councillor who's promised updates and feedback from the Highways dept/Engineer. None have come through yet - only promises of chasing it up.

The subsidence is a lot worse and regularly scrapes the bottom skirting of my car against the stones on the curb. I have had no response at all from St Albans council.

One email after quite a pause, received this month from the council but no actual repair. Well over a year since this was first raised and nothing tangible yet.

Been well over a year since first reported (Dec 2019). Feels like they might be humouring me. Unsure of my options at this point - driveway continues to deteriorate.

Still waiting for the fix, almost 2 years after originally reporting to the council. Fair damage to the car now, so also seeking legal advice on holding SAC council to account for it.
