Traffic lights not phased correctly, causing long tail backs on Staunton Lane, we live here and it’s a nightmare.

It would appear that the lights go red for Bristol Road and then only let Church Road out, then goes back to Bristol Road. So leaving Staunton Lane out until next time, even though traffic is waiting there. I have never seen these lights work in this sequence before. Maybe traffic is not being detected on Staunton Lane.

This problem has not been resolved. Cars cannot exit from Staunton Fields as all road markings have been removed due to resurfacing and because traffic is tail backed to Stockwood due to traffic lights.

18/07/20 Lights still on a very short time (approx 3/4 cars per change) from Staunton Lane to the A37 At 1200 today traffic was queued back to the coal merchants on Staunton Lane with many vehicles doing 3 point turns to seek alternative routes.
